Marty Baxter is a partner with Bricker & Eckler LLP in the health care group and practices health care law with an emphasis on issues pertaining to patient care; privacy/confidentiality, including HIPAA; medical staff; peer review organizations; practitioner licensing and disciplinary matters; hospital and medical staff governing documents and related policies; physician recruitment; accreditation; facility licensing and certification. Marty is also the executive director and a principal and senior consultant for the Bricker & Eckler LLP affiliated health care consulting company, The Quality Management Consulting Group, Ltd., which provides consulting services in quality management, medical staff, peer review issues, and HIPAA privacy, as well as health facility billing audits.
