Sommer Sheely is a member of the Bricker & Eckler litigation group with a civil litigation practice. She oversees and conducts all aspects of litigation: investigating and evaluating claims and defenses, preparing and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, drafting motions, preparing witnesses for deposition and trial, presenting evidence and arguments at trial, and pursuing and opposing appellate relief.
Representative Experience
Represents insurance companies in disputes with agents and insureds
Represents vendors, suppliers, manufacturers and designers in various contract litigation, including with respect to UCC issues
Represents trustees, individuals and beneficiaries in fiduciary disputes, including charitable giving, will and trust contests and other fiduciary challenges
Represents individuals and entities in partnership disputes, including dissolution issues
Represents landlords and owners in commercial lease disputes
Regularly appears in various federal and state courts and before administrative panels
