   Investment Banking & Structured Finance

The Investment Banking & Structured Finance Group has extensive experience in lender liability suits and has appeared in federal courts across the country, including Boston, Chicago, and New York. We represent borrowers and lenders regarding standard finance agreements, fraudulent conveyance, and other transfer of asset issues. We serve as defense attorneys in novel lender liability claims, under the RICO, WARN, Wage & Hour, FLSA, and unfair trade practices acts.

We have successfully defended claims in excess of $100 million on behalf of securities financers across a spectrum of industries. We also have extensive experience in representing securitization and special servicer entities in defending billions of dollars of securitized assets backing privately placed and publicly issued bonds. When litigating, our attorneys work to protect the collateral base for the good of the investors. We provide advice regarding fraud risk, oversight, the roles of trustees and bond insurers, and "deal cops."
