Manufacturing is the force that powers Ohio's economy. In fact, manufacturing
accounts for more than a quarter of Ohio's gross state product. Ohio's prime
areas of manufacturing include machinery, automobile, metal processing, casting,
plastics, chemicals, medical equipment and food processing. Products produced in
these and other areas are used locally and around the world. Ohio ranks third
nationwide in manufacturing output. In 1999, Ohio manufacturers exported their
goods to nearly 200 countries and Ohio ranked eighth in exports to the world the
following year. One thing is certain: Ohio manufacturers keep the economy
running and are the foundation upon which other industries build.
At Bricker & Eckler, we recognize the vital role manufacturers play both
locally and globally. We stand behind Ohio manufacturers and your partners in
the trucking and warehousing industries by providing you with the legal support
you need to keep making the products that maintain our economy.

General Counsel to the Ohio Manufacturers' Association
Bricker & Eckler's dedication to the manufacturing industry is solidly
grounded in our representation of the Ohio Manufacturers' Association (OMA). We
are honored to serve as the general counsel to the OMA, the only statewide
association exclusively serving manufacturers. Our partnership with the OMA
gives us a unique insight into the specialized legal needs of
manufacturers.
Our attorneys lend strategic support to the OMA and its membership
through the identification of issues, the dissemination of information, and the
development of strategies for resolving the unique problems of the manufacturing
industry. Read Case Study - Advocacy Efforts
On Behalf of the Ohio Manufacturers' Association. We understand the problems of global servicing and the need to find
new ways to reduce costs, the difficulty of recruiting and retaining a quality
workforce and the new technologies that are often necessary to compete in the
global market. We work side-by-side with the staff and membership of the OMA to
find legislative, regulatory or judicial solutions and to keep Ohio
manufacturers current on developing issues and trends.
