Ohio Fresh Eggs Wins Permit Appeal
Bricker & Eckler was part of a winning administrative litigation team that obtained a reversal of the Ohio
Department of Agriculture's revocation of operating permits for Ohio's largest egg producer. In the case of Ohio
Fresh Eggs v. Wise, the Ohio Enviromental Review Appeals Commission reversed the revocation of the permit.
The Department of Agriculture based its revocation decision on its belief that Ohio Fresh Eggs provided misleading
information in its permit application. The Environmental Review Appeals Commission, however, found that the permit application
was not misleading.
Bricker & Eckler represented the appellant-intervenor.
