We would like to welcome you to Bricker & Eckler’s Women in Networking (WIN) group. WIN is dedicated to celebrating and encouraging the talents, attributes and experiences that our women attorneys bring to the firm. We also provide opportunities for business and professional women to network in mutually beneficial ways, and support the needs of women and families in our communities.
WIN does this by holding community-awareness charitable events twice a year; providing opportunities to attorneys, clients and friends to participate in philanthropic activities; fostering professional relationships among area business women; supporting the involvement of women attorneys on boards and community organizations; and promoting mentoring relationships among our women attorneys.
Over the past few years a number of nonprofit organizations have been featured at our WIN events. Our Autumn Outreach events have raised money for Gladden Community House, Amethyst, Inc., and the Center for Healthy Families. Our Spring Fling receptions helped Flying Horse Farms, Huckleberry House and Dress for Success.
WIN chair, Anne Marie Sferra, is a litigation partner and chair of the Appellate Advocacy Group and WIN co-chair, Katherine (Katie) Spies Giumenti, is a member of the Employment and Labor Practice Group. Together, they share their commitment to women’s issues and community improvement with all WIN group members.
