Bricker Graydon is currently seeking an experienced bond finance attorney to join its Public Finance Practice Group. The ideal candidate will possess 6+ years’ experience acting as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and developer/borrower counsel, working on traditional, general obligation, revenue and project-based financings.
Corporate Attorney
Bricker Graydon is currently seeking an experienced attorney(s) to join its Business Industry Group. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in corporate law. Basic contract, corporate governance, tax, securities and merger and acquisition experience, a plus.
Corporate Tax Attorney
Bricker Graydon is currently seeking a Corporate Tax Attorney to join its growing Business Industry Group to work with our team of experienced tax professionals. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ of tax experience in corporate and partnership taxation, business structuring and formation (choice of entity), and mergers and acquisitions. Experience handling civil tax controversy-related matters is a plus. LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
Creditors’ Rights Attorney
Join our Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Team and be a key player in assisting financial institutions through commercial loan defaults, loan restructuring, and associated litigation. We are looking for an attorney with at least 5 years of experience, strong academic credentials, ethical standards, and exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Economic Development Finance Attorney
Bricker Graydon is currently seeking an attorney to provide support to its strong and successful economic development finance team. Multi-year experience working with, and knowledge of, commercial real estate finance, public finance, or economic development finance, is a plus. Candidates with training in tax, economics, or corporations (such as an LLM or an MBA) are welcomed. Successful candidates will have existing exposure to, or a strong desire to learn, tax increment finance (TIF) law, tax abatement law, special assessment law, bond finance, and other methods of public-private finance.
Energy & Environmental Attorney
Bricker Graydon LLP is currently seeking an experienced attorney (10+ yrs) to join its Energy & Environmental Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have first-chair experience with both governmental administrative hearings of all kinds and litigation, more specifically.
Other expertise should include experience with regulatory and compliance advising, and interpreting and advising administrative rules impacting the energy and environmental industries. A candidate with working knowledge of the Ohio EPA, the PUCO, and ODNR, a plus. Admission to the Ohio Bar is required.
Labor & Employment Attorney
If you have at least 3 years of experience in labor and employment law, providing management-side advice to schools or expertise in public sector collective bargaining, explore opportunities within our K-12 Education Law Team. Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are key attributes we seek.
Trust & Estates Attorney
Bricker Graydon is currently seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Attorney to join its Business Industry Group. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in advising clients on complex estate planning matters, including advanced trust planning, wealth preservation strategies, gift and estate tax strategies, estate and trust administration, revocable and irrevocable trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable remainder and lead trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, fiduciary income taxation, and closely held business ownership succession planning and taxation.
