#MeToo movement prompts sexual harassment policy changes, according to Kathumbi

A recent 10TV story, which spotlights the #MeToo movement and sexual harassment in the workplace, features Bricker Employment & Labor attorney Lisa Kathumbi. In her interview, Kathumbi reports that local companies, in response to many workplace issues brought to the surface by the nationwide movement, are wanting to evaluate and revamp their sexual harrassment training and procedures. Her best advice for employers is to take action when a problem is recognized and to, "not wait until a formal complaint is made, but to take every allegation seriously."
