Construction
Ben Hyden is a member of the Bricker & Eckler construction law group. He is located in the Cincinnati/Dayton office. Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Ben served two years as a construction fellow in the Bricker & Eckler construction fellowship program while in law school.
Representative Experience
Experienced in managing commercial construction projects, including a chemistry laboratory/classroom building at a university and a newspaper press addition
Experienced in project management, including construction scheduling, contractor claim review, procurement of materials and equipment, submittal review, and project cost control
Experienced in construction estimating, including compiling lump sum competitive bids and project budgets
Experienced in construction law, including the representation of owners in the negotiation, mediation or litigation of construction claims, including claims for defective and non-conforming work and project delay claims
