Ben Hyden is a member of the Bricker & Eckler construction law group. He is located in the Cincinnati/Dayton office. Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Ben served two years as a construction fellow in the Bricker & Eckler construction fellowship program while in law school.

Representative Experience

  • Experienced in managing commercial construction projects, including a chemistry laboratory/classroom building at a university and a newspaper press addition

  • Experienced in project management, including construction scheduling, contractor claim review, procurement of materials and equipment, submittal review, and project cost control

  • Experienced in construction estimating, including compiling lump sum competitive bids and project budgets

  • Experienced in construction law, including the representation of owners in the negotiation, mediation or litigation of construction claims, including claims for defective and non-conforming work and project delay claims
