What is The Bricker Advantage? The Bricker Advantage is the depth of legal and practical experience of our construction law Team. The Bricker Advantage also is a recruiting, training and professional development program that concentrates on a Team orientation by hiring and developing people who we believe are passionate about construction law and dedicated to continuous improvement.

Experience and Depth. The Bricker Advantage means that our construction clients will have available to them a Team of 16 professionals who devote substantially all of their time to construction matters, plus one part-time Team member. Here is our Team by the numbers:

  • 10 attorneys total full-time (plus one attorney assigned part-time)

    • 8 attorneys with engineering degrees, including

    • 2 attorneys who are registered Professional Engineers

  • 5 construction and legal assistants, total

    • 2 construction and legal assistants with engineering degrees

  • 2 Construction Fellows who both have engineering degrees and one who is a registered Professional Engineer

  • 145 total years of legal experience

  • 105 total years of actual construction experience.

The Bricker Advantage means that we strive to provide our construction clients with a professional staff with a strong Team orientation. We embrace a Good to Great1 oriented leadership development and management program. This program includes our Core Ideology, strategic planning, hiring construction professionals, our Construction Fellowship program, regular weekly meetings for the exchange of ideas, a proprietary construction claims Tactical Manual, our annual Top Gun Construction Claims program, and in-house training conducted by Judge Ralph Adam Fine.
