Our real estate practice includes clients who are constantly faced with
environmental challenges. We counsel these clients on environmental issues
related to real estate development (such as filling wetlands, demolition of
asbestos-containing buildings, and the presence of lead-based paint) and assist
in due diligence before a transaction (such as reviewing and interpreting Phase
I environmental site assessments and Phase II investigations). We also have
assisted and counseled clients in obtaining Covenants-Not-to-Sue (CNS) under
Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program (VAP) or Brownfield statute.
