Determining Necessary Trauma Patient Transfer Agreements

Pursuant to section 3727.09 of the Ohio Revised Code, each hospital in Ohio is required, by November 3, 2002, to have agreements in place for the transfer of adult and pediatric trauma patients. The number and type of agreements needed by each hospital depends on that hospital's own trauma capability as a verified or provisional adult or pediatric trauma center.
