Biography

Dan Gerken practices energy litigation and business and commercial litigation. In 2016, 2017 and 2018, he was named an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star in the areas of Energy & Natural Resources and Business Litigation. Dan litigates disputes involving pipeline infrastructure, wind power generation, energy-related regulatory enforcement, oil and gas leases, mineral rights, and other issues related to the energy sector. He regularly speaks to attorneys, title abstractors and law students about energy litigation issues. Dan also represents insurers, utilities providers and other businesses in commercial, contract and environmental disputes in federal and Ohio courts.

During law school, Dan served legal internships with the Honorable Joseph E. Beshouri, the District of Columbia Superior Court and the Office of the Ohio Public Defender.
