Kevin M. Hilvert


Kevin Hilvert’s practice focuses on structuring, negotiating and drafting all types of health care provider integration transactions, including practice acquisitions, mergers, accountable care organizations, joint venture arrangements, service line co-management agreements, call coverage and quality improvement agreements, performance benchmarking initiatives, physician compensation arrangements, recruitment and space sharing arrangements, and other forms of integration strategies.

Kevin’s practice also includes advising non-profit organizations regarding a variety of governance and tax-exemption issues, including governance structure and best practices, conflicts of interest, reorganizations, private use, unrelated business income, public support, private foundations, and other exemption and governance issues. In connection with these practice areas, Kevin focuses on compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, the Civil Monetary Penalties Law, Medicare provider-based regulations and other reimbursement rules, and IRS tax-exemption rules.
