Megan Savage Knox

Biography

Megan Savage Knox has a unique practice within Bricker's Public Sector group. Megan represents school districts before county boards of revision, the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court in disputes related to the valuation and exemption of real property. In addition, she represents both self-insured and state-insured employers during all stages of their workers' compensation matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Megan was an associate at another central Ohio law firm, where she gained experience in their education group. While in law school, Megan was an education law research assistant and a law clerk for a school law firm in Cincinnati. She also served as a legal intern and consultant with the Cincinnati Public Schools’ Office of the General Counsel, both during and after law school.

Megan has been involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training since October of 2014. Together with her teammate (her mom!), she raised approximately $12,500 for LLS and was recognized as a top national fundraiser in February.

Megan has recently taken up running and completed her first half-marathon in February (with Team in Training.) She plans to continue her training and hopes to tackle the Columbus half in October.

Around the World

Megan and her husband, Tom, are avid travelers. They spent their honeymoon in Mexico and will be celebrating their first anniversary in Italy. They also enjoy domestic travel and recently spent time in New York City, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.
