CARES Act quarterly reporting requirements satisfied through existing federal reporting mechanisms

On July 10, 2020, the Office of Post-Secondary Education published a bulletin on quarterly reporting requirements for institutions of higher education under the CARES Act. According to the bulletin, the U.S. Department of Education consulted with the Office of Management and Budget and concluded that CARES Act quarterly reporting requirements are satisfied under the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (FFATA), which includes monthly reporting requirements institutions are already required to follow as CARES Act grantees under the FFATA Subaward Reporting System. Further information regarding the quarterly reporting requirement is available here. Information regarding additional public reporting requirements for institutional websites is available here.
