Cleveland attorney selected for prestigious Energy Law Leadership Class
Chris Furey, an energy and real estate attorney based in Bricker’s Cleveland office, has been accepted into the 2019-2020 Institute for Energy Law Leadership Class. Chris was selected from a nationwide pool of applicants for the 40-member class, which includes attorneys, landmen, a professor and an economic consultant.
This year’s class is required to participate in a rigorous education-based program geared toward young energy professionals, including the IEL Leadership Academy Retreat, the 71st Annual Oil and Gas Law Conference and the National Young Energy Professionals’ Law Conference. Other programming includes webinars, in-house counsel forums and day conferences.
Part of the nonprofit Center for American and International Law, the IEL has a long history of providing high-quality continuing legal education through conferences, seminars and forums, and counts among its membership leading professionals in the energy industry worldwide.
Bricker is pleased to congratulate Chris on this accomplishment and looks forward to a significant relationship with the IEL and the wider energy community.
