    Kleinman weighs in on the role of an MSP in a “once-in-a-100-years scenario”

    As COVID-19 continues to alter the current health care landscape, MSPs have their work cut out for them when it comes to credentialing and privileging.

    How can an MSP be prepared? According to Bricker health care attorney Steve Kleinman in Credentialing Resource Center’s article “What is the MSP’s role in COVID-19?” (subscription required), “[t]his is a once-in-a-100-years scenario, so it is quite understandable that MSPs and physician leadership do not have a playbook for this.” He goes on to help describe the important role of the MSP during the COVID-19 pandemic and discusses the credentialing and privileging challenges that MSPs are confronted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
