Construction Equipment Guide cites information from Evans to give optimistic picture of construction industry's future

Firm News

Despite a predicted slowing economy, the federal government's recent passage of CARES Act funding will likely have a positive impact on the construction industry. As described by ConstructionEquipmentGuide.com, CARES Act dollars have been allocated to projects involving hospitals, airports and other public infrastructure, including new projects undertaken in response to the pandemic. Citing a recent CARES Act summary publication, authored by Bricker construction attorney Mark Evans, the CEG article describes the specific allocation of funds and their designations. This includes $150 million "to prevent, prepare for and respond to coronavirus, domestically or internationally, including to modify or alter existing veteran hospital, nursing home, and domiciliary facilities."
