David Stein quoted in American Banker

American Banker recently reported on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s latest issue of Supervisory Highlights (subscription required). They talked with Bricker lawyer David Stein about the findings in the report, and he noted there was “one specific line about TRID … that took him by surprise.” Stein went on to say that "[i]t's a good lesson for anyone facing a CFPB enforcement issue to work in a collaborative manner to identify the root cause and that this is the key to the bureau tempering its approach. When you're in the midst of fighting with the bureau, it's not easy to be collaborative."
