Karia Ruffin joins Bricker & Eckler

The law firm of Bricker & Eckler LLP is pleased to announce that Karia Ruffin has joined the firm’s energy and environmental law group.

A former chemical engineer with 12 years of experience working for a large, multinational medical devices and health care manufacturer, Karia brings a unique technical background to Bricker’s robust energy and environmental practice areas. The combination of her engineering background, process-driven approach and experience working in the Environmental Enforcement section at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office position her very well for a practice that includes litigation in state and federal court, regulatory work before Ohio EPA, the Ohio Power Siting Board and Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, and counseling on environmental and regulatory matters, including compliance, due diligence, permitting and enforcement.
