Koppitch gives insight on economic development incentives and the governor race

Columbus Business First, in its article “Economic development leaders envision Columbus region's transit future with job goals in reach” (subscription required), recently highlighted the importance of technology-based economic development incentives to city growth. As the city prepares to potentially bring more than 1 million residents to Columbus by 2050, economic development incentives are a hot topic in the upcoming Ohio gubernatorial election. Bricker Government Relations attorney Matt Koppitch notes that while no candidates have specifically laid out their incentive plans, “it will be something to keep an eye on as they roll out their platforms.”
