Matt Gurbach joins Bricker & Eckler

Veteran trial attorney Matt Gurbach has joined the law firm of Bricker & Eckler LLP as a litigation partner. A northeast Ohio native and die-hard Browns fan, Matt is a bet the company litigator who will be based in the firm’s Cleveland office.

“We are excited to have Matt and his diversified litigation background join the firm,” said Matt Warnock, Partner in Charge of Bricker’s Cleveland office. “It is clear that clients rely on Matt’s strong interpersonal skills and many years of experience inside and outside of the courtroom to help them make practical and strategic business decisions, even if that means taking a case to trial.”

Matt represents domestic and international clients in their most pressing legal matters in courtrooms throughout the United States and before arbitration tribunals.  They rely upon his pragmatism and innovative solutions to resolve trade secret disputes, breach of contract claims, product liability lawsuits, and a wide range of other business-related disagreements.  Matt regularly utilizes all forms of alternative dispute resolution to craft solutions for clients.  When a resolution cannot be had, however, Matt is always ready to try the case. 

Matt is a member of the steering committee for the Defense Research Institute (DRI)’s Product Liability Committee.  Additionally, bar associations and trade groups regularly ask Matt to present on topics relating to trade secret protection, alternative dispute resolution, trial tactics and evidence, and litigation management.   Finally, Matt recently concluded his service as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
