One year later, Bricker continues to support Columbus Crew, fans

Hosting a celebratory tailgate at the Columbus Crew's April 20 home game against the Portland Timbers, Bricker & Eckler continues its support of both the team and its loyal fans. With last year's lawsuit in the rearview mirror, the team – and the city – can now focus on winning games, rather than keeping one of the league's original teams planted among its hometown fans. And while the franchise has been able to move on from last season's uncertainty, the efforts of the #SavetheCrew movement have not been forgotten. Organizations, such as the Columbus Foundation, the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and Experience Columbus, continue to recognize the grassroots movement and its leaders with awards. Because of the collaboration of many in Columbus, last year's courtroom victory paves the way for a successful 2019-2020 season.
