Parram serves as example to Minority Clerkship Program success

Firm News

A 2005 participant in the Minority Clerkship Program, which is sponsored by the Columbus Bar Association, Bricker energy attorney Devin Parram is now reflecting on the benefits of his involvement in the program. In Columbus Business First’s feature “How the Minority Clerkship Program Creates Opportunity” (see page 36, subscription required), Devin describes how his clerkship with Schottenstein, Zox, and Dunn (now Ice Miller) helped him grow a successful legal practice. Specifically, the program allowed him to “obtain experience in [a] law [firm] that historically had limited minority attorney representation,” and he was provided the opportunity to build relationships and begin a strong legal network. According to Devin, “[t]he program helped me start to truly understand what it means to be a lawyer. It was my first opportunity to use what I learned in law school to solve real world problems for clients.”
