Two Bricker attorneys elected into public office

November 6, 2018, brought Election Day victories for two Bricker attorneys, continuing the firm’s involvement in and commitment to public service. Public finance attorney Chris Schmenk was successful in a contested race for a seat on the three-person board of county commissioners in Union County. Chris is the former mayor of Marysville, Ohio, and also served on Governor Kasich’s cabinet. Litigator and ERISA attorney Jim Schuck was also on the ballot. He ran uncontested for a position as judge on the court of common pleas for Delaware County. Jim has previously served as chairman of the Delaware County Republican Party and as the campaign chairman or treasurer for several political and judicial elected officials and candidates.
