Employers awarded $375,000 from BWC safety grants

Fourteen Ohio employers will share $375,000 in grants from the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) to purchase equipment designed to substantially reduce or eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses. Recipient employers operate in Brown, Butler, Franklin, Hamilton, Hocking, Jackson, Mahoning, Marion, Sandusky, Stark and Tuscarawas counties. The Safety Intervention Grant program matches an employer's investment three-to-one up to a maximum of $40,000. A listing of the latest grant recipients can be found here.
