Jhay T. Spottswood

Jhay Spottswood is a 2018 graduate of The Ohio State University's Moritz College of Law. She was a Michael E. Moritz Scholar and Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, as well as a managing editor of The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. She also competed on OSU’s Mock Trial Travel Team and is the recipient of the Krivoshey Trial Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.

Her prior experience includes a summer associate position with Calfee, Halter & Griswold, an externship at the Ohio EPA and a judicial externship for the Honorable Judge George Smith of the Southern District of Ohio. Jhay earned her B.A. cum laude in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she was also recognized by the school with several undergraduate honors.
