Amanda M. Grandjean

Mandi Grandjean is a government relations attorney with experience in the health care and insurance industries. Her practice focuses on election law, campaign finance, public policy, ballot initiatives, ethics and compliance. She is known for her ability to help her clients build their “brands” on Capital Square and has a large network of relationships within local, state and federal government.

Specifically, Mandi played a vital role in the defeat of two groundbreaking ballot initiatives in Ohio. Representing an association of biopharmaceutical researchers and biotechnology companies in one matter and an association of kidney medical service providers in the other, her team was able to prove that signatures collected by out of state interests to put controversial issues on the Ohio ballot were invalid.

Mandi represents clients in front of the Ohio Supreme Court, administrative bodies, such as county boards of election, the Ohio Elections Commission, the Ohio Ethics Commission and the Ohio General Assembly.

Prior to joining Bricker, Mandi interned for Speaker John Boehner of the U.S. House of Representatives, served as a media liaison for the U.S. Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, worked as a legal intern with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office and as a law clerk for Judge Daniel R. Hawkins, and served as a research assistant for Professors L. Camille Hèbert and Dan Tokaji. Upon completing law school, Mandi was awarded the Dean’s Special Award, which is given to graduating law students to honor outstanding leadership and contributions to the Moritz College of Law.
