Noorjahan Rahman

Noor Rahman is a member of Bricker & Eckler’s Financial Services & Litigation practice groups. Her diverse national practice includes representation of clients in complex litigation at both the trial and appellate level, including as amici curiae to the Ohio Supreme Court. Noor has experience litigating matters important to a variety of industries including insurance, energy, education, healthcare, professional associations and financial services. She also helps companies navigate state and federal supervisory examinations and enforcement actions.

In addition to her adversarial practice, Noor counsels members of the financial services industry on the development of compliance policies and procedures based on risk mitigation and regulatory strategies. She advises on the requirements of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering rules (AML), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), as well as on fair lending, financial privacy and other consumer finance regulatory matters.

Previously, Noor clerked for the Office of Delaware Attorney General (Beau Biden) and worked at the Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm Advisory Board Company (ABC). In 2011, she served as Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Beirut, Lebanon. While in college, Noor interned for the Ohio Governor and for an Ohio congresswoman at her Washington, D.C. office.
