Petition for Writ of Certiorari to United States Supreme Court - DeRolph v. State 2003

Petition for Writ of Certiorari Filed With United States Supreme Court
    Denied on October 20, 2003

The Ohio Coalition for Equity & Adequacy of School Funding and the DeRolph v. State Plaintiffs asked the United States Supreme Court to review the May 16, 2003 decision of the Ohio Supreme Court in State ex rel. State v. Lewis, 99 Ohio St.3d 97, 2003-Ohio-2476. The decision resulted in the issuance of a Writ of Prohibition against Perry County Common Pleas Judge Linton Lewis, the trial judge in DeRolph, prohibiting him from taking any action to enforce the Ohio Supreme Court's DeRolph orders. On October 20, 2003, the U.S. Supreme Court denied the certiorari petition thus ending the litigation.
