    Bricker offers law students an in-depth learning experience that provides exposure to the legal profession, while identifying top legal talent to join our practice upon graduation. The attorneys and staff at Bricker work together to challenge, stimulate and motivate our Summer Associates as they do real client work, collaborate with lawyers, develop camaraderie with their class, and find out what it is like to practice at a respected law firm.

    Recruiting for the 2019 Summer Associate Class is now complete. Beginning Fall 2019, we will be seeking law students with strong academic backgrounds and leadership skills for our 2020 Summer Associate class.

    Workers’ Compensation Attorney (Columbus)
    Bricker & Eckler is currently seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation attorney to join its Employment & Labor team in our Columbus Office. Successful candidates will have at least three years’ experience working as an attorney and will be expected to represent clients at hearings. Some travel is required. Part-time or flexible schedules may be considered. Must be licensed in Ohio.

    Construction Law Fellow (Columbus)
    Our firm offers a unique program for engineers or architects interested in transitioning to construction law. The Bricker & Eckler Construction Fellowship combines part-time study with full-time immersion in a real-world construction law department while at the same time making accommodations for exam schedule.     Accounting Clerk (Columbus)
    Bricker & Eckler is currently searching for an Accounting Clerk to be part of the Finance Team. Responsibilities include making the bank deposit, scanning/distributing the list of checks, manual disbursements, coding invoices, coding all reimbursements and certain disbursements into the financial system, run Generic Importer daily and record manual disbursements, review manual logs and enter information into the billing system, process all personal Charges & Collection of Payments for staff and attorneys, and assist Senior Financial Manager with special projects. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, some college coursework preferred, and one to three years of work experience. Experience in accounts payable preferred. Candidates must also possess good communication skills, both oral and written, be detail oriented, have general knowledge of accounting principles and knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

    Marketing & Business Development Specialist (Columbus)
    Bricker & Eckler is currently searching for a Marketing & Business Development Specialist to be part of our Business Development Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing all marketing and business development projects for assigned industry group(s) and attorneys; providing guidance on strategies and business development initiatives; and working collaboratively with other members of the team to coordinate business development initiatives and firm-sponsored events. A working knowledge of marketing technology (i.e., HTML, email marketing platforms, etc.) is preferred.  Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and two to five years’ experience in business development, marketing, communications or public relations. Candidates must also possess good written and verbal communication skills, including being an active listener; must display excellent customer service skills with internal and external clients; and must work collaboratively and have an enthusiasm for managing multiple projects.

    Senior Administrative Coordinator (Columbus)
    Bricker & Eckler is searching for a Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This position will support and work alongside the Director of Professional Development who is responsible for the firm’s attorney recruitment efforts, training programs and professional development. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assistance with candidate interview process both on- and off-site, including all scheduling, administrative, and logistical details; providing administrative support for onboarding duties, such as creating and coordinating schedules, compiling orientation materials, arranging travel and related reimbursements; assisting with internship programs, training programs and firm-sponsored events by setting up, tracking attendance and coordinating facility and technical resources and assisting with all administrative aspects of attorney performance evaluation processes. Candidates must have a minimum of five to seven years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a fast paced environment which required regular interaction with internal and external customers; must be proficient with various software programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook; must be highly organized and have strong attention to detail.
