Restrictions on Use of Provider Relief Fund Distributions

On October 9, 2020, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) published CARES Act Provider Relief Fund Frequently Asked Questions.  Among these FAQs, HHS stated that it was not permissible to use Provider Relief Fund distributions to repay payments made under the CMS Accelerated and Advance Payment (AAP) Program.
