Peer-on-Peer Retaliation (Free Title IX In Focus Webinar Series)
This session will focus on retaliation between students, including conduct that may constitute retaliation (intimidation, threats, coercion, or discrimination) and conduct that is likely not retaliation, but may be impacting the parties. We will connect the compliance obligations of Title IX to the reality of campus interactions, highlight common missteps, and offer practical strategies for coordinated response, documentation, and prevention.
This session is pending approval by the Minimum Continuing Legal Education Board of the Supreme Court of Illinois and the Commission on Continuing Legal Education for the Ohio Supreme Court for 1.0 total CLE hours of instruction.

Bricker Graydon Wyatt’s Title IX In Focus Free Webinar Series focuses on issues related to sexual misconduct, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. This series is aimed at helping colleges and universities comply with annual training requirements under the Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act (110 ILCS 155/1 et seq.) and the Clery Act (34 CFR § 668.46), in addition to ensuring ongoing discussions about practical strategies, legal updates, and trauma-informed practices.
Running from August 2026 through May 2027, each webinar will be presented by a member of Bricker Graydon Wyatt’s Higher Education team, and may feature guest speakers from our network of university partners, key government agencies, and seasoned professionals in the field of sexual misconduct and relationship violence.
Although we had our Illinois friends in mind when developing this series, it is open to anyone employed by a college or university.
