Catherine "Catie" Ballard is a paralegal with multiple years of experience.  She assists the Firm’s Trusts, Estates & Personal Planning Service Team as well the Corporate & Securities team in a variety of matters.

B.S., University of Louisville, Criminal Justice

• Assists with estate and trust planning and administration of estates, including drafting estate planning documents, drafting court pleadings, drafting deeds for real estate transfers, collect and organize financial information, preparation of principal/income accountings.
• Assists with audits relating to Federal estate tax returns and Kentucky inheritance and estate tax returns.
• Assists with litigation of contested estates.
• Prepares and drafts legal documents, including pleadings, answers, motions, discovery, notices, and responses, to be filed with the Court.
• Communicates with clients regarding procedural and case processing to maintain well-informed clients.
