Overview
Carrie Dunn-Lucco is an experienced energy and regulatory attorney with a deep understanding of Ohio’s utility landscape. Drawing on significant in-house experience with major electric utilities, Carrie now counsels clients on a range of energy and utility matters, including representing municipalities and working on matters involving retail energy suppliers and proceedings before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) and the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB).
Carrie is also an experienced litigator who has represented clients before the PUCO, the Supreme Court of Ohio, and state and federal courts. Earlier in her career, she represented affiliated companies of a major Ohio electric utility in commercial and regulatory matters and later served as contract counsel to another major Ohio electric distribution utility. Those roles give Carrie an in-house perspective on the operational and business considerations that often accompany complex regulatory and legal issues.
Her practice also extends into Labor & Employment and Healthcare. Carrie previously served as general counsel to a physician-owned community hospital and as a senior compliance officer within a health system, where she advised on employment, contracts, compliance, and regulatory risk.
Active in the Northeast Ohio community, Carrie has served on several nonprofit boards and was recognized by the Greater Akron Chamber as one of its “30 For The Future” honorees.
