Janik Tackett brings boots-on-the-ground construction experience and proven field leadership to help owners confidently navigate every stage of a project.

Janik Tackett is an Owner’s Representative with Bricker Graydon Wyatt’s Construction team. He brings more than a decade of hands-on experience in industrial and commercial construction, helping owners successfully manage complex capital projects from planning through completion. With a background spanning structural steel erection, heavy rigging, industrial equipment installation, and field operations, Janik provides practical insight that helps clients navigate construction challenges while keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with their goals.

Before joining the firm, Janik served as a General Foreman overseeing field operations for large-scale, mission-critical construction projects. In that role, he coordinated daily with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and owners to manage construction activities, allocate resources, monitor project milestones, and proactively resolve issues that could impact schedules or project performance. He also led safety initiatives, conducted quality reviews, and served as the primary liaison between field teams, company leadership, and project stakeholders. His leadership and commitment to excellence earned him recognition as a nominee for Frontline Leader of the Year in 2025.

Earlier in his career, Janik worked as a millwright, where he specialized in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of industrial machinery and equipment. He collaborated closely with engineers and trade partners, interpreted technical drawings and specifications, performed equipment alignment and troubleshooting, and helped coordinate construction activities to support successful project delivery. His extensive field experience provides him with a practical understanding of the challenges owners, contractors, and project teams face throughout the construction process.
