Lex Miller combines deep judicial insight with hands-on litigation experience to help clients navigate complex financial disputes with clarity and confidence.

Alexis Miller is an attorney in Bricker Graydon Wyatt’s Columbus office and a member of the firm’s Creditors' Rights team. She focuses her practice on bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and commercial litigation, bringing a strong foundation in judicial clerkships and complex litigation to help clients navigate financial disputes, insolvency matters, and business-related legal challenges.

Prior to joining the firm, Lex served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court, where she conducted advanced legal research and drafted memoranda, proposed orders, and judicial opinions involving complex issues under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, and applicable state law. She assisted the court in managing a high-volume docket, evaluating dispositive motions, evidentiary issues, and contested claims while helping ensure the efficient resolution of bankruptcy proceedings.

Before her bankruptcy clerkship, Lex practiced as a litigation associate, managing a diverse caseload involving commercial disputes, business torts, employment matters, and high-exposure personal injury litigation. She drafted dispositive and procedural motions, collaborated on litigation strategy, and advised clients on matters involving significant financial exposure. Earlier in her career, she served as a judicial law clerk in state court, assisting with complex criminal matters.

While in law school, Lex gained hands-on experience advocating for consumers through an economic justice clinic, assisting clients facing mortgage foreclosures, debt collection actions, fraud, and predatory lending practices. She also completed a summer associate position focused on civil litigation, where she researched and drafted legal memoranda involving tort and liability matters.
