As an attorney and innovator, Michael’s mission is bridging the gap between law and technology to connect people and ideas toward common goals.

Michael Stack is an asset to several of the firm’s practice groups, providing litigation and technology support to all departments in the areas of e-discovery, project management, processing, document review, production, data management, and artificial intelligence. He collaborates with attorneys and clients to ensure quality and efficiency are maximized throughout each matter applying best practices and using state-of-the-art legal technology tools.

Outside The Office

When he’s not being a legal technologist or zealously advocating for clients, Michael greatly enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. A transplant to the Midwest from the Deep South, Michael owes his ever-growing love of Ohio to the love of his life, a central Ohio native whom he met at his undergrad alma mater, Auburn University. After attending law school in Florida and eventually moving to Ohio, Michael traded one house-divided family sports rivalry in Auburn/Alabama for another house-divided family sports rivalry in Ohio State/Michigan. Thankfully, his love of college football is still intact, and he generally has no comment as to whether The Iron Bowl or The Game provides the greater rivalry story.

As a former performer in marching band, concert band, jazz band, rock bands, jam bands, concert choirs, and even an occasional wedding singer, Michael has an immense passion for music. His experiences in vocal performance, playing guitar, and playing saxophone have had an immeasurable impact on his effectiveness in his career. The discipline, communication, audience-reading, improvisation, and collaboration skills required to be a performer have a direct translation to being a better advocate. Michael uses those experiences to help guide the way he interacts with clients and colleagues.

In his limited spare time, Michael also enjoys the thrill of outdoor adventures, including tennis, camping, weightlifting, motorsports, and scuba diving. An enthusiast of good food and craft beverages, Michael has competed multiple times in the annual “The Ohio Eggfest” Big Green Egg barbeque festival and cancer research fundraising event. Michael is also an Eagle Scout, so he would say “Be Prepared” is an equally applicable motto to most aspects of life, be it scouting, marriage, parenting, hobbies, or the practice of law.
