Isaac K. Keller is a litigator who represents businesses, public entities, and individuals in disputes ranging from complex commercial matters to tort, insurance, education, and transportation litigation.  Alongside his broader litigation practice, Isaac has developed a particular focus on intellectual property, helping clients protect, enforce, and defend their brands and other business interests.

Isaac’s experience includes contract and commercial disputes, tort and insurance defense, maritime and admiralty matters, residential and commercial lease disputes, and disputes involving public school districts and their employees.  He also handles appellate matters and advises clients on disputes before litigation begins.  In his intellectual property practice, Isaac assists clients with trademark registration before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including overcoming refusals to registration, and represents clients in trademark infringement and enforcement matters.  He also counsels clients on licensing, contracts, and other intellectual property issues.

Isaac works with clients ranging from individuals and small businesses to public entities and large companies, with an emphasis on practical solutions that account for both legal and business objectives.  Whether a client needs assistance responding to a subpoena, advise before a dispute becomes a lawsuit, a contract reviewed to understand its rights and obligations, guidance pursuing alternative dispute resolution, or a trial lawyer prepared to see a case through to its conclusion, Isaac helps clients identify and pursue the strategy that best serves their legal and business needs, bringing a practical, results-oriented approach to each matter.

• Represents individuals and businesses in evaluating, protecting, and enforcing trademark rights, including prosecuting state and federal trademark applications and addressing infringement and enforcement issues.
• Represents clients in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), including trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings.
• Represents clients in domain name disputes involving cybersquatting under ICANN’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).

Ky.).  The firm represents an Italian entity in litigation arising from alleged flooding and resulting property damage at a commercial facility, involving negligence and breach-of-contract claims based on a third-party beneficiary theory.
• Monhollen v. Feeders Supply Company, LLC, No. 3:26-cv-00335-DJH (W.D. Ky.).  The firm represents Feeders Supply in litigation involving claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
• Papa John’s International, Inc. v. Xu, No. 3:25-cv-00270-CHB-CHL (W.D. Ky.).  The firm represents Papa John’s in litigation against a franchisee involving claims of trademark infringement, breach of contract, and related causes of action.
• Winona Powder Coating, Inc. v. Trinsoft, LLC, No. 5:25-cv-00162-KKC (E.D. Ky.).  The firm represents a coating solutions company in a breach-of-contract action arising from a dispute over software services.
• Gibson, et al. v. Garmin International Inc., et al., No. 22-CI000602 (Pulaski Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.) The firm successfully represented Garmin International in product liability and negligence action arising from a boating accident in Lake Cumberland, Kentucky, providing substantial pre-trial strategy and support that culminated in a complete defense verdict following an eight-day jury trial.
• Pure Energy Entertainment v. Pleasure Ridge Park High School, et al., No. 26-S-000434 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Dist. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained defense verdict for a public high school and school district personnel after a bench trial of the breach-of-contract action alleging nonpayment for DJ services provided for a school dance.
• East Louisville Portfolio Kentucky v. Belo Marketing Solution, Inc., No. 26-C-005091 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Dist. Ct.).  The firm successfully represented a commercial tenant in a lease dispute, obtaining dismissal of forcible detainer action based on alleged breaches of the lease agreement.
• Hocker Oxmoor, LLC d/b/a Oxmoor Mall v. Adithya Sai Enterprises, Inc., No. 26-CI-003765 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained a monetary judgment in favor of shopping mall against a commercial tenant following an earlier judgment of possession obtained in a forcible detainer bench trial.
• American Trucking and Transportation, RRG a/s/o Paschall Truck Lines v. Henkel Corporation, et al., No. 25-CI-00440 (Warren Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully represented a transportation and storage company against breach-of-contract claims arising from alleged property damage.
• Jefferson County Board of Education v. Sylvien, No. 2025-CA-1178 (Ky. App.). The firm successfully obtained reversal on appeal of a trial court’s denial of governmental immunity to a public school district’s Board of Education on claims of negligent hiring, training, and retention.
• Adrajaneek v. Jefferson County Board of Education, et al., No. 25-CI-010376 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained dismissal of premise liability claims against school district’s Board of Education and School District Finance Corporation.
• Davis v. Dixon, et al., 25-CI-001861 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained dismissal of negligence claims against the school district and its personnel arising from student altercations aboard a school bus.
• Artist Row Portland, LLC v. Marshall, 25-C-012008 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Dist. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained judgment of possession on behalf of a residential landlord in a forcible detainer action.
• Belle v. Hitchings, et al., No. 25-CI-003723 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained dismissal of claims against school district personnel arising from a student altercation on school premises.
• Bobb v. Jefferson County Public Schools, No. 25-CI-007810 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained dismissal of personal injury claims against school district and personnel arising from alleged injuries sustained on school bus.
• Cortech, LLC v, Vuteq USA, Inc. d/b/a Vuteq Kentucky, No. 25-CI-00189 (Scott Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The Firm successfully represented an automotive supplier and manufacturer in a breach of-contract action involving payment disputes for vendor services.
• Evans v. Jefferson County Board of Education, et al., No. 24-CI-006192 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained dismissal of negligence and breach-of-contract claims against the school district and personnel arising from student altercations aboard a school bus.
• Frey, et al. v. Varghese, et al., No. 6:24-cv-00178-REW-EBA (E.D. Ky.). The firm successfully defeated a preliminary injunction and obtained dismissal of derivative action asserting breach of fiduciary duty claims against directors and member of Pineville Community Health Center, Inc.
• T.D. v. Jefferson County Public Schools, et al. No. 23-CI-005139 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully obtained summary judgment in favor of school district and personnel in action alleging violation of the Kentucky Civil Rights Act and negligent supervision and infliction of emotional distress.
• Dover, as Administratrix of the Estate of Shan’l Newberry, et al. v. Dosker, et al., No. 22-CI-001957 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully represented school district and its personnel in consolidated action involving personal injury claims brought by several students arising from school bus accident.
• The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, Inc. v. Kentucky Colonels International, et al., No. 3:20-cv-132-RGJ (W.D. Ky.).  The firm successfully pursued post-judgment enforcement and recovery efforts on behalf of a client following entry of a favorable judgment.
• Johnson v. Armstrong Transfer & Storage Company, Inc., No. 17-CI-005465 (Jefferson Cnty. Ky. Cir. Ct.).  The firm successfully represented a transportation company against multiple regulatory and tort claims arising from its employment relationship with company personnel.
